The Global Head of Product Line Management drives the global product line strategy and portfolio performance by translating market insights, customer needs, and business objectives into competitive product solutions that deliver sustainable growth and profitability, aligned with the brand identity.
Product Line Management
- Define and execute the global product line strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
- Manage the product portfolio throughout its lifecycle, from ideation to end-of-life.
- Prioritize product investments, innovation initiatives, and portfolio optimization opportunities.
- Ensure achievement of revenue, margin, market share, and growth targets.
- Create seasonal product line plans, ensuring balanced assortment by category, price point, and market segment.
Insight-Based Product Briefing
- Gather and synthesize customer, market, competitive, and industry insights.
- Translate business opportunities and customer needs into clear product requirements and value propositions.
- Develop product briefs that guide innovation, development, and commercialization efforts.
- Monitor market trends and emerging technologies to identify future growth opportunities.
Cross Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with R&D;, Marketing, Sales,
Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.
- Ensure alignment between product strategy, development roadmaps, and go-to-market plans.
- Lead cross-functional decision-making processes to deliver successful product launches.
- Foster a customer-centric and data-driven approach across the organization.
Reporting and Communication
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for product portfolio performance.
- Provide regular updates and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
- Communicate product strategy, roadmap, and business results to internal stakeholders.
- Business cases, portfolio reviews, and executive presentations to support decision-making.
