Job SummaryThe world leader in mineral-based specialty solutions for industry, Imerys delivers high value-added, functional solutions to diversified sets of industrial sectors, from processing industries to consumer goods, based in Paris.
Imerys has operations in over 40 countries and over 16,000 employees.
In particular, it is present in Italy with 7 production sites and trading activities.
In order to support the financial function, Imerys is looking for a GL Accountant (fixed term 12 months).
xysqume The ideal candidate is a smart person, willing to take over responsibilities in the context of a multinational company, able to cooperate and communicate with different peers and stakeholders (accounting, treasury, IT, customer service, procurement and operations).
Main ResponsibilitiesDaily coordination of the Financial Service Center (in Greece) and supervision of general accounting and related reconciliations/balances
Supervision of intercompany transactions
Support to all italian Imerys entities in archiving and administrative activities
Supervision of the completeness and correct sending of electronic invoice
VAT, Conai and Intrastat submission
Participation to IT projects for the implementation and customization of SAP 4Hana
RequirementsAccounting diploma or degree in economics
Experience in the role of at least 2/3 years gained in modernly structured companies
Fluent in Italian and English, written and spoken, French might be a plus
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
Knowledge of SAP is mandatory, JDE is a plus
