**Strategic Partner Wanted - Let’s Build the First Crowdfunding Platform for the Chinese Community in Italy** **Introduction** Italy is home to over 280,000 Chinese residents and a thriving business network of over 20,000 bars, 10,000 casalinghi stores, and 10,000 infusion restaurants. Despite this impressive scale generating billions annually most of these business owners remain disconnected from Italy’s financial system. **This is one of the largest underserved entrepreneurial communities in Europe.** With low banking inclusion (only 68% have a bank account), limited credit access, and growing capital needs for expansion, **there is a massive untapped opportunity to bring crowdfunding and fintech solutions to this community**. We’re launching Italy’s first lending crowdfunding ecosystem focused on the Chinese business community —— and we’re looking for the right strategic co-founder or partner to help us build it. **Who we are**:
We are a young and passionate team made up of: - Three Chinese founders with entrepreneurial backgrounds
- A group of recent graduates from top Italian universities
- Key members of the **Association of Chinese Bars in Italy (ABCI)**
- Owners of large-scale restaurant and hospitality businesses Together, we’re building a platform that connects the **real economy of the Chinese business community** with innovative financial solutions. **We already have**: - A network of over **2,500 bar and tabacchi owners** across Northern and Central Italy
- Our own **distribution company** supplying bar owners with essential products and services, including **gelato, cornetti, coffee, snacks**, and more.
- A nationwide **casalinghi (household goods) network**, connecting with **thousands of store owners** from North to South.
- A strong **restaurant network** of **hundreds of Chinese-owned eateries**, from small family-run spots to large-scale operations, and direct relationships with their owners.
- A community of **successful entrepreneurs with deep, hands-on experience** across all these sectors **Who we’re looking for**:
We are looking for strategic partners with both professional expertise and an entrepreneurial spirit — someone who are not only experienced in finance, but also genuinely interested in collaborating with the Chinese business community in Italy. **Ideally, you have**: - A background in **banking**, **lending**, **crowdfunding, fintech, investment management, compliance, or financial regulation** (Italy or EU level)
- Experience with **Consob licensing**, **ECSP** (European Crowdfunding Service Provider) regulation, or **digital lending platforms.**
- An **entrepreneurial mindset**, with the ability to think long-term and build from the ground up.
- A sincere interest in **working with and supporting the Chinese business community.**
