Fratelli d'Amico Armatori is seeking a

Technical Superintendent to join its Technical Department, responsible for the supervision and technical oversight of the company's tanker fleet.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, coordinate, and supervise the technical activities of the assigned fleet.

- Carry out technical inspections on board vessels.

- Monitor the condition of the Ship’s machinery and systems, ensuring compliance with company standards and applicable regulations.

- Provide technical support to shipboard personnel in resolving operational and maintenance issues.

- Manage planned maintenance activities and review technical documentation through the company's fleet management system.

- Liaise with Masters, Chief Engineers, shipyards, classification societies, and suppliers.

Requirements





- Previous seagoing experience on tanker vessels as an

Engineer Officer or

Chief Engineer

, with relevant professional certificates, either currently valid or previously obtained.

- Sound knowledge of marine engineering systems and ship maintenance practices.

- Experience with the

AMOS fleet management software.

- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally to conduct onboard technical inspections across the fleet.

- Good command of both written and spoken English.

- Strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative team-oriented approach.
