THE ROLE This role supports the development and delivery of climate risk management solutions that address key challenges of Quantis clients, ensuring that the proposed delivery meets clients’ needs. Your mission will be to maintain Quantis at the cutting edge of your area of expertise to maximize the quality and impact of our advice to transform our clients, and to continuously improve our offerings. As a Sustainability Expert - Climate Risk Strategy you will: - Develop credible, trusted relationships with senior client project contacts, guiding them from crafting the brief to developing climate risk management strategies, supporting data collection & reporting, crafting deliverables and sustainability solutions. You will be successful in your role if you: - You’re able to lead client-facing strategic environmental sustainability projects
- You have strong client-facing skills, with the ability to understand client needs
- Master sustainability expertise areas such as climate risk strategy & modelling, international climate change and sustainability regulations (eg. - You’re motivated to put your expertise to work towards our mission of aligning businesses with Planetary Boundaries.
- For 5+ years you’ve been sharpening your ability to provide expert advice on climate risk management, using models and data to assess future climate scenarios and their potential impact on clients' business operations (own operations, supply chain, etc).
- You have knowledge of climate - science and experience in climate risk modeling and data sourcing.
- You have expertise in defining tailored, strategic recommendations for clients to build climate resilience and align with future environmental trends.
- You have knowledge of international climate change and sustainability regulations, such as TCFD and ESG policies.
- You have proven communication skills for presenting complex climate risks and strategic solutions to clients in a clear and actionable manner, included the ability to lead discussions with senior client stakeholders,



preparing strategic reports and presentations to support sales process.
- You are self-confident, able to both listen and be assertive when needed to advice C-suite clients.
- You’re motivated for teamwork and supporting a team.
- You get excited about guiding companies to understand and design transformative and science-based strategy.
- You communicate effectively in fluent Italian and English.
- You have demonstrated the ability to coach, teach, and mentor others with your knowledge and skills, in an academic and/or corporate setting. AS A SUSTAINABILITY EXPERT, HERE’S A PREVIEW OF WHAT TYPE OF WORK YOUR DAYS WILL INCLUDE: - Working closely with our Global and Branch Experts team to manage and delivery projects and to develop new businesses
- Developing unique innovative solutions to address challenges related to sustainability strategies, climate risk management solutions, together with other Sustainability Experts and Strategists
- Guiding our clients with a strong consultant posture from crafting the brief to developing excellent ESG strategy deliverables
- Explaining many standard Quantis solutions and their interdependencies in a credible and compelling way
- Proactively identifying further sales opportunities at active clients
- Challenging an operating budget with additional services
- Mentoring and guiding Sustainability Specialists
- Identifying process or system improvements that could improve project team effectiveness
