We are looking for an experienced SAP CPI Integration Developer to support the integration architecture of an international SAP S/4HANA transformation and rollout program.
The consultant will design, develop and maintain integrations using SAP Integration Suite / Cloud Integration (CPI), connecting SAP S/4HANA with applications such as IFS, ServiceNow and a Service Technician application. A key focus will be ensuring reliable end-to-end integration across service-related processes, including Service Requests, Order Management, Shipping, Delivery, Billing and Invoicing.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design, develop, configure and maintain integration flows using SAP Integration Suite / Cloud Integration (CPI).
- Build interfaces between SAP S/4HANA and non-SAP applications, particularly IFS and other applications within the Service landscape.
- Develop and maintain synchronous and asynchronous integration scenarios.
- Configure mappings, routing, transformations and message processing.
- Work with integration technologies and protocols such as REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, XML, JSON, SFTP and HTTPS.
- Implement monitoring, error handling and exception-management mechanisms.
- Troubleshoot complex integration issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Work closely with SAP EDI, S/4HANA functional, BTP development and architecture teams.
- Support integration requirements for Service/Order Management, Shipping, Delivery, Billing and Invoicing.
- Ensure secure and scalable connectivity between cloud and on-premise applications.
- Support migration of existing interfaces into the target S/4HANA integration landscape.
- Participate in integration testing, cutover and go-live activities.
- Contribute to integration standards and reusable solutions for future rollouts.
- Maintain technical interface and integration documentation
What You'll Bring Along
- Minimum 4-7 years of hands-on experience with SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite – Cloud Integration.
- Experience designing and developing complex integration flows.
- Strong knowledge of: REST and SOAP, OData, IDoc, XML and JSON, Message Mapping, Routing and transformation, API-based integrations
- Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA with non-SAP systems.
- Strong understanding of integration patterns and error-handling concepts.
- Experience with interface monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of authentication, certificates and secure connectivity.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Professional proficiency in English or German is required.
