We’re looking for a dynamic **Head of Mechatronics** to lead our Mechatronics department in our site in Val della Torre, Turin, Italy. Previous experience in the **automation sector** is preferred. In this role, you’ll be responsible for **managing the full lifecycle of product development projects**—from concept to industrialization—with a strong focus on timely delivery, quality, and innovation. You'll guide a set of multidisciplinary teams, ensure cross-departmental alignment, and contribute to our long-term competitiveness in lab automation and medical device markets. **Key Responsibilities** **Project Leadership** Oversee mechatronics projects from start to finish, ensuring on-time delivery, quality execution, and adherence to budget. Plan each phase thoroughly and allocate resources efficiently. **Team Management** Lead and motivate the mechatronics teams.



Distribute tasks strategically to maximize efficiency and foster a high-performance, innovation-driven culture. **Process Improvement** Introduce agile methods and streamline development and industrialization processes to reduce time-to-market and costs. **Cross-Functional Collaboration** Work closely with Product Managers and the Head of Software Development to ensure product alignment with market needs and company priorities. **Budget Oversight** Manage the department’s budget, ensuring financial resources are well allocated across projects and aligned with company goals. **Innovation and Technology Integration** Keep up with trends in robotics, AI, machine learning, and automation. Lead the integration of these technologies into new products and champion a culture of continuous innovation. **Regulatory Compliance** Ensure all products meet relevant local and international regulations, with a strong focus on safety and quality standards in medical and lab environments. **Outsourcing Strategy** Identify and manage external partners, maintaining control over quality, technology, and delivery while boosting team capabilities. **Talent Acquisition and People Development** Actively scout for top technical talent through universities, schools, and professional networks to build and maintain a competitive team. Work closely with HR department in order to develop resources.



**Customer-Centric Development** Collaborate with Product and Sales teams to integrate customer needs into product development, ensuring user satisfaction and continuous quality improvements. **Requisiti**:
**Technical Skills**
- Strong foundation in mechatronics, including mechanical, electronic, and embedded systems.
- Solid experience in project management, including cost, timeline, and risk control.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies for complex systems.
- Knowledge of firmware and software development, with the ability to supervise (but not necessarily write) embedded code.
- Previous experience in the automation sector is preferred. **Soft Skills**
