- Thermal Generation **Sector Highlights** **Transmission & Distribution** With the growing demand for renewable energy, your work will help ensure clean energy reaches homes, businesses, and even international markets through interconnectors to Europe. **Thermal Generation** Support the evolution of thermal energy assets to meet modern demands with efficiency and sustainability. You’ll help optimise performance, reduce emissions, and ensure operational excellence across diverse technologies. As part of our teams, you’ll be directly involved in the design of critical infrastructure that supports the transmission of low-carbon energy. Depending on the project stage, your work will span: - Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and Detailed Design phases
- Civil works design, including platforms (earthworks, embankments, retaining walls), access roads (temporary and permanent), and drainage systems (SuDS, Infodrainage)
- Structural design, covering foundations, beams, columns, and connections
- Feasibility studies and optioneering exercises to identify optimal solutions

To be eligible for this opportunity, you will have less than 12 months’ relevant experience (excluding placements) and have a bachelors / masters degree (obtained no earlier than 2024) or expected to achieve one of the following degree disciplines: - Civil Engineering
