**Business Managing Director**

**Company**: One of the renowned Auto-ID and label printing/SaaS products companies **About the company**:
The company is a leading global provider of **Auto-ID solutions that connect people, goods and information**. It serves a diverse range of sectors to streamline operations, empower workforces and help customers reduce their environmental impact. Integrating auto-ID technologies with hardware as solutions, the company tags identifiers to things and people at the site of business operations and feeds data to IT systems for processing. **Role Overview**:
The Managing Director is responsible for managing a small branch while also acting as a key player in driving sales growth within a specific region. The role focuses on promoting high-quality, sustainable Auto-ID products integrated into complete identification solutions, supporting customers and partners. This position requires a proactive, results-driven professional committed to expanding the company’s presence in the Italian market. Strong cross-functional collaboration and the ability to act as an expert and trusted advisor are essential. **Primary Responsibilities**
- Manage the operations of small branches
- Prepare, manage, and execute budgets
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients and key accounts to maximise retention and upselling
- Build a robust sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, and market research
- Support and guide team members
- Develop and implement go-to-market strategies based on regional market knowledge
- Provide regular sales forecasts, activity reports, and performance updates to senior management
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and technical teams to support business initiatives
- Attend trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events to promote products and services
- Drive initiatives to enhance brand awareness in the market **Requirements**: - Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience in the Auto-ID industry
- Proven experience in managing teams
- Budget management experience
- **Soft Skills**: Results-oriented, creative mindset, strong strategic planning skills, adaptability, high initiative, autonomy, and self-motivation
- **Hard Skills**: Proven track record in solution sales, knowledge of the printer industry (Auto-ID experience is a plus), ability to develop and implement sales strategies
- **Languages**: Business-level Italian and English; additional languages are an advantage
- **Other**: Valid driving licence; experience in or strong affinity with the Auto-ID sector Pay: €90,000.00 - €140,000.00 per year Application Question(s): - Are you able to commute to the office for 3 days/week in Milano or Bologna? **Experience**: - management: 2 years (required)
