This Position reports to:
Quality Manager **Your role and responsibilities** You will join the Laboratory team responsible for testing and certification of ABB low voltage products, Energy Distribution Business Line. Work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid. In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for: - Manage new products approvals with third party bodies and maintain/update the existing ones and ensure update of certification database and transparent access to all main internal stakeholders.
- Act as entry point for all questions/requests related to certification marks, ensuring effective solution and support, monitor and update KPI regarding customers satisfaction, handling claims and corrective actions.
- Manage the Laboratory Quality system making sure calibrations, test procedures and general procedures meet the requirements of EN 17025; support improvement of procedures for safety/HSE.
- Train other colleagues on the procedures of the Laboratory and make sure they are always followed when performing any activity.
- Organize and manage inspectors visit for products certification tests and for the Laboratory Accreditation.
- Monitor and validate official declaration released to the customers.
**Qualifications for the role**
- Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- More than 2 years of experience in an Accredited Laboratory or equivalent.
- Strong sense of ownership, result orientation and strong communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced knowledge in the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point); Power BI and SAP as a plus
- At ease communicating in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
