Role Description This full-time Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Operator role at Armatis Yachts is an on-site position based in Brindisi. The CNC Operator is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machinery to produce precision components used in yacht manufacturing.

Day-to-day activities include reading and interpreting technical drawings, selecting appropriate tools and materials, adjusting machine settings, and monitoring production runs to ensure accuracy and efficiency. The role involves performing routine machine maintenance, collaborating with engineering and production teams to resolve issues, and documenting production data. The CNC Operator is expected to follow safety protocols and contribute to continuous improvement of machining processes and product quality.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated ability in Machine Operation, including setup, safe operation, and basic maintenance of CNC Machinery

- Hands-on experience with Machining and Milling processes for metal or composite materials
- Strong focus on Quality Control, including measurement, inspection, and adherence to technical specifications
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, CAD/CAM files, and work instructions
- Relevant vocational training or technical diploma in mechanical engineering, industrial technology, or a related field
- Familiarity with shop mathematics, measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges), and tolerances
- Awareness of workplace safety standards and willingness to follow safe work practices
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a production team environment
- Previous experience in marine, automotive, aerospace, or precision manufacturing is an advantage
