/p h3Job Description Summary /h3 h3THE SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER ROLE /h3 pWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Project Manager to join our PMO team.
This individual will lead projects that optimize processes, implement tools, and enhance operational efficiency and governance.
/p pThis role offers a unique opportunity for an experienced professional with approximately four to five years of project management experience to take on greater ownership within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

/p h3Job Description /h3 h3KEY RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 h3PMO Operations Development: /h3 ulliPartner with PMO leadership to shape and implement operational plans that align with Alira Health's strategic goals.
/liliOwn and refine operational metrics to ensure the effectiveness of PMO initiatives, recommending adjustments to leadership as needed.
/liliDesign and implement frameworks for managing internal governance and accountability across projects.
/li /ul h3Project Portfolio Management: /h3 ulliLead medium- to large-scale projects and coordinate broader strategic initiatives across multiple stakeholders.
/liliOwn the creation of project charters, timelines, and reports, ensuring accountability for on-time and on-budget delivery.
/liliUse KPIs to assess the success of initiatives and drive process improvements based on data-driven insights.
/li /ul h3Process Optimization and Innovation: /h3 ulliDrive the continuous improvement of PMO and Alira Health processes at the Business Unit level through lean and agile methodologies.
/liliLead the identification and rollout of new tools and technologies that enhance operational efficiency, including software implementation initiatives.
/li /ul h3Stakeholder and Communication Management: /h3 ulliLead communication across cross-functional teams to align objectives and drive seamless collaboration, serving as a key point of escalation.




/liliOwn the creation of client governance frameworks to enhance stakeholder satisfaction and project outcomes.
/liliPresent project performance and operational updates directly to leadership, providing recommendations for course correction.
/li /ul h3Professional Development and Team Collaboration: /h3 ulliMentor and provide guidance to team members on best practices.
/liliContribute to the professional development of the PMO team by sharing knowledge and lessons learned.
/liliActively participate in a feedback-oriented culture, both giving and receiving constructive input to strengthen team performance.
/li /ul h3IT Governance: /h3 ulliOwn oversight of the IT project portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic initiatives.
/liliDefine and track IT-related KPIs and metrics to evaluate project success and system performance.
/liliLead engagements with Business Process Owners to define requirements, manage priorities, and streamline IT and software solutions across departments, including new system implementations.
/liliEnsure IT projects adhere to governance standards, including compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
/liliDrive communication between the PMO, Operational, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of tools and technologies that support operational objectives.
/li /ul h3DESIRED QUALIFICATION EXPERIENCE /h3 ulliBachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Healthcare, Operations, Logisitics, or Life Sciences.
/liliMaster's degree in related fields (e.g., Healthcare Management, Engineering, or Economics) strongly preferred.
/lili4-5 years of experience in project management, operations, or related fields, including experience leading cross-functional projects.
/liliExperience in healthcare is a plus.
/liliAt least 1 year of hands?on experience with the implementation of at least one type of business software solution, such as ERP, PSA, HRIS, CRM, or ATS platforms (e.g., Unit4, OpenAir, SAP, Workday, Salesforce, or similar).

Spain /liliIn-office presence required for the first 6 months, 50% required moving forward /li /ul h3TECHNICAL COMPETENCES SOFT SKILLS /h3 pTechnical competencies: /p ulliStrong analytical skills with the ability to define, track, and interpret KPIs and operational metrics, and translate them into actionable recommendations.
/liliProficiency and experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
/liliProven track record with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., lean, PMP, or agile practices) /liliProven ability to redesign business processes by combining domain expertise, automation, and generative AI technologies, with a focus on reducing manual effort, improving scalability, and increasing the leverage of senior professionals.
/liliSoftware implementation experience for enterprise software (ERP, PSA, HRIS, CRM, ATS, or similar platforms).
/liliStrong command of portfolio management concepts and IT governance principles.
/liliProven experience with operational reporting and performance monitoring.
/liliAdvanced business English proficiency (written and verbal) /liliAdditional languages such as Spanish, Italian, or German are a plus /li /ul pSoft Skills: /p ulliExperience working in international teams, preferably between the EU and US.
