PURPOSE:

The RSPP is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving the site’s Health & Safety management system, ensuring compliance with Italian legislation, corporate standards, and regulatory requirements. The role provides technical guidance to management and employees on occupational health and safety matters, identifies and assesses workplace risks, and promotes a proactive safety culture across the organization. Working closely with Operations, Human Resources, Maintenance, external contractors, occupational health providers, and local authorities, the RSPP drives initiatives aimed at preventing accidents and occupational illnesses while supporting business performance through effective risk management and continuous improvement.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ensure compliance with local Health & Safety legislation, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify workplace hazards and perform risk assessments, ensuring that preventive and protective measures are implemented and maintained.
- Develop, update, and communicate safety procedures, work instructions, and emergency plans.
- Surveillance on the right application of internal Health & Safety procedures by employees, visitors, and contractors.
- Monitor contractor activities and ensure compliance with site safety requirements and applicable regulations.




- Organize and coordinate mandatory Health & Safety training programs and awareness initiatives.
- Maintain Health & Safety documentation, records, permits, and legal registers.
- Conduct workplace inspections, audits, and safety observations to identify improvement opportunities and ensure compliance.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Analyze Health & Safety performance indicators and trends, reporting results to leadership and recommending improvement actions.
- Collaborate with Occupational Health providers, worker safety representatives (RLS), local authorities, and external organizations on Health & Safety matters.
- Support emergency preparedness activities, including evacuation plans, drills, and crisis response programs.
- Monitor legislative updates and ensure timely implementation of regulatory changes.
- Participate in management reviews and develop action plans to continuously improve Health & Safety performance.
- Promote a proactive safety culture through employee engagement, communication, and leadership support.
- Support corporate EHS initiatives and ensure alignment with global standards and objectives.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

- Degree or technical qualification in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
- Qualification to act as RSPP according to Italian Legislative Decree 81⁄08, including required Modules A, B, and C.




- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a Health & Safety role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of Italian Health & Safety legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action management.
- Knowledge of ISO 45001 management systems and auditing principles.
- Good knowledge of Environmental, Health & Safety management systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.

The offer includes direct employment with the company on a permanent contract, with a gross annual salary ranging from €38,000 to €46,000.

The indicated salary range reflects the expected compensation for the role and is defined based on objective criteria related to the job, including responsibilities, scope, and market benchmarks. Placement within the range will depend on factors such as experience, qualifications, demonstrated capabilities, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, employees may be eligible for a competitive benefits package and applicable incentive programs.
