ph3Job Title /h3pTrain Operation Support Engineer /ph3Purpose of the Job /h3ulliProvide real?time technical support to train drivers and operations teams during service faults.
/liliCoordinate with Alstom control room to monitor train systems remotely and respond promptly to operational anomalies.
/liliCoordinate with traffic control and fleet management to manage train availability and service recovery.
/liliProvide clear and accurate instructions or guidance based on established protocols and procedures.
/liliTroubleshoot and diagnose issues related to railway equipment, providing timely solutions and support to off?site technical interventions.
/liliPrepare detailed reports and documentation of off?site maintenance activities, including findings and recommendations.
/liliAnalyze incidents and support post?event investigations to determine technical causes.
/liliCollaborate with maintenance teams and contractors to support repairs and maintenance work.
/liliParticipate in root?cause analysis and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
/liliConduct field inspections, special checks, and assessments of rolling stock.
/liliReview fleet failures, downtime reports and equipment histories to uncover reoccurring operation problems and utilize continuous improvement tools to implement solutions.
/li /ulh3Responsibilities /h3ulliParticipate in critical task?force dedicated to troubleshooting when needed.
/liliDefine standard rules to analyze train diagnostic data.
/liliDefine standard sheet for troubleshooting during operational outage.
/liliDesign diagnostic algorithms in collaboration with engineering team.
/li /ulh3Organisational Reporting /h3ulliFleet support center manager /li /ulh3Network Links /h3ulliFleet managers /liliDepot managers /liliControl room system engineers and data analyst /liliMaintenance team leaders /li /ulh3Educational Requirements /h3ulliTechnical diploma or degree in engineering (preferably Mechanical or Electrical) or proven experience in railway maintenance and operation.
/li /ulh3Technical Knowledge / Experience /h3ulliExperience in train monitoring system development, validation or commissioning.
/liliExperience at system level in railway industries or large industrial plant (power, naval, etc.).
/liliGood knowledge of business analytics tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
/liliStrong analytical skills with attention to detail.
/liliExcellent problem?solving abilities and capacity to work under pressure.
/liliExperience in customer service or technical support, preferably in a transportation or railway environment.
/liliExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
/liliFamiliarity with industry standards and safety regulations in railway operations.
/liliData?driven: makes objective decisions based on data/facts.
/li /ulh3Job Location / Mobility Requirements /h3ulliBased in Milano Fiorenza Depot, operating on a 7?day weekly shift basis and providing on?call support through a rotating shift pattern.
