The role contributes to maintaining strong financial controls, supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
/ppbr/ppbJob Description /b /ppbr/ppWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Finance team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing general accounting activities, supporting financial closings, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
/ppbr/ppbKey Responsibilities /b /ppbr/pulliManage general accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations and adjusting entries.
/liliSupport month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with reporting deadlines.
/liliPerform intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies where necessary.
/liliMaintain the integrity of the general ledger and ensure the accuracy of accounting records.
/liliSupport the preparation of documentation required for internal and external audits.
/liliAssist in the preparation of statutory financial statements and tax compliance activities.
/liliCollaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate accounting treatment of business transactions.
/liliIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting and internal controls.
/liliEnsure compliance with accounting principles, company policies and audit requirements.

/liliSeveral years of experience in General Accounting within an international environment.
/liliSolid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting processes.
/liliExperience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
/liliPrevious experience supporting statutory audits is considered a strong advantage.
/liliGood command of English, both written and spoken.
