Gewiss is looking for an Advanced Purchasing Manager to join the Integrated Supply Chain Function. The figure will be responsible for managing product development projects for the Installation Business Unit. He/she will be the ISC single point of contact for the BU. Responsibilities: - Support for supply chain definition
- Supplier scouting - Contact with suppliers
- Definition of purchasing conditions / contracts
- Researching new technologies and informing the BU about potential opportunities
- Supporting supply alternative activities/resolving supply issues Skills required: - Purchasing office experience (min 2/3 years)
- Knowledge of production / purchasing logic - Industrial skills (expertise in the plastics processing world is a plus)
- ability to work in a TEAM
- ability to plan activities / manage projects
- knowledge of Office package
- knowledge of SAP (plus)
