AirFreightGtwClerk: purpose of the job is completion of the daily activities for Air freight products in compliance with UPS standards and procedures and provide customer service to clients. The resource carries out all the activities and operations foreseen in the Airfreight department for outbound. **What he/she does daily?** Contact Air Carrier and network offices to organize shipments
Receipt and/or transmit shipping instructions
Data entry into UPS systems according to performance indexes and standard procedures
Contact air carriers and book freight
Set up customs clearance process
Communicate flight details to clients




Monitor shipments schedule and follow up shipment tracking
Create cost accruals in the system and invoice Enquiry carriers for failure reasoning
Set up corrective plan to ensure destination is reached
Fill in claims as per procedure **Skills and experience** University degree/High School diploma or equivalent Even basic experience in freight forwarding (IATA regulation, ENAC rules, incoterms etc) **English **skills both verbal and written Time management good PC skills, specifically Microsoft Office products Excellent **organizational skills **and **autonomy** Able to **work under pressure **and meet tight deadlines
