**Main Activities and Responsibilities**:
Screening of microbial strains for different physiological traits
Data analysis
Development of improved strains through molecular microbiology or classical mutagenesis approaches, with selection via specifically designed screening systems
Collaborate closely with other research scientists to plan experiments and exchange information, both within and beyond the department **Competences**:
Accuracy and precision in the lab work Attitude in planning and work organisation Excellent relational skills and attitude to team work Problem solving and orientation to achieve results Data analysis and critical evaluation **BACKGROUND** PhD within molecular microbiology, biotechnology, or a related field Practical experience in microbiology (at least 3 years), ideally with lactic acid bacteria Experience with screening techniques and data analysis English, spoken and written Pay: €28,000.00 - €30,000.00 per year Istruzione: - Dottorato (Obbligatorio) Lingua: - Inglese (Obbligatorio) Application Deadline: 28/02/2025
