**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Maintains legal files (both paper & electronic), organize and file documents in designated order, as well as prepare, keyboard, enter, proofread and process legal and administrative correspondence.
- Processes time entry, opens new matters, drafts engagement letters and audits responses.
- Makes travel arrangements, processes reimbursement expenses, maintains calendar, collates information, writes reports, prepares agendas, review and preparation of billing invoices, and other administrative duties, as needed by the department.
- Manages phone lines for supported attorneys, fielding calls, initiating conference calls and conveying messages as necessary. Communicates with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and liaisons.
- Conducts researches.
- Manages document deliveries and tracks final executed documentation.
- Performs overflow typing, filing, or photocopying as time permits and as requested by other attorneys. **Skills & Competencies**
- Skilled in handling administrative tasks such as attorney time entry, travel arrangements and processing invoices and expenses
- High attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively
- Positive attitude, excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), professional demeanor and presentation.
- Strong ability to maintain high standards of professionalism, including the ability to maintain client confidentiality, use good judgment and anticipate needs of attorneys with high volume practices.
- Ability to collaborate well in a team.
- Position also required the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines. **Qualifications & Prior Experience**
- Italian and English proficiency in writing and speaking.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a legal secretary, working in a business law practice.
