**Opdenergy**is a growing independent _renewable _energy _producer (IPP) with presence in Europe, United States and Latin America with more than 19 years’ experience. The company develops, builds, finances, manages and operates high quality _renewable _energy _projects in several countries, with a portfolio of 2,6 GW (1,3 operational and + 1,3 ready to build / under construction) assets in operations and construction, whole portfolio under development sums up to over 18 GW. As a **Technical Director**, you will play a critical role in taking _renewable _energy _projects from the permitting phase to the construction-ready stage. Your responsibilities will include:
**What will you help with**
- Overseeing the technical development of PV projects, ensuring all aspects of design, engineering, and compliance are met.
- Managing and coordinating second-level project activities, including detailed engineering, grid connection processes, and preparation for construction.
- Reviewing and approving technical documentation to ensure compliance with local and international standards.
- Collaborating with engineering consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure technical solutions are optimized and feasible.
- Ensuring project designs align with permitting conditions and site-specific constraints.
- Supporting the construction handover phase,
ensuring all technical aspects are ready for execution.
- Staying up to date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure innovative and effective project solutions. **What We’re Looking For**
- A degree in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, or related fields).
- At least **5 years of experience**in technical development or engineering roles within _renewable _energy _projects.
- Strong knowledge of PV systems, grid connection requirements, and construction processes.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
