**Avincis** is a global leader in the emergency aviation industry and it provides services in the field of HEMS, Firefighting, off-shore and MRO. For the Firefighting area, Avincis manages the Italian Canadair fleet composed of 18 planes, owned by the Corpo Nazionale dei Vigili del Fuoco, and it counts on 3 operative bases. The Rotary Wing division instead has a fleet of more than 40 helicopters and 36 operative bases, mainly operating in Italian regions but also covering international operations.The **Helicopter Type Specialist**(Maintenance Technician) will be active in support to operations, with a particular emphasis on troubleshooting, maintenance planning, coordination with CAMO (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization) and PART145 maintenance organizations, and providing technical advice/discuss on helicopter and engine planning. The Type Specialist will report to the PART145 Maintenance Manager and actively support Line and Base technicians in troubleshooting.**Key Responsibilities**: - Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure optimal helicopter performance and availability.
- Coordinate with CAMO to ensure compliance with airworthiness regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with PART145 maintenance organizations to schedule and oversee maintenance activities.
- Actively support Line and Base technicians in troubleshooting.
- Provide technical advisory on requests to helicopter and engine manufacturers.
- Sustain deep technical discussions with OEMs to resolve complex issues and improve helicopter performance.
- Provide guidance and training to less experienced technicians.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Motivate and support team members to achieve high performance and maintain a positive work environment.
**Qualifications**: - In-depth knowledge of various helicopter types and their technical specifications.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Experience in maintenance planning and coordination with CAMO and PART145 organizations.
- Ability to provide technical advisory on requests to helicopter and engine manufacturers.
- Ability to sustain deep technical discussions with OEMs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and diagnose issues.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other specialists, pilots, ground crews and office staff.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure safety compliance and adherence to regulations.
- AML (Aircraft Maintenance License) B1.3, B2, and/or C on one or more helicopter types operated by the Company (BK117C2-D2-D3, AW169, AW139).
- General IT competences, including proficiency in MS Office. **Skills**: - Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
