- Accountant_ Donaldson has an opportunity for an Accountant, based in Ostiglia. The position will report to the Finance Manager. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - To produce accurate and timely accounting information consistent with the local accounting practices and to give accounting support to other departments in the company in the broadest sense.
- Take care of the information flow towards the authorities (VAT etc.) as well as assisting in preparing internal reports.

- Maintenance of General Ledger including monthly journal entries, accruals and prepayments to establish the financial position of the company.
- Assist in the preparation and examination of the basic information for preparing and filing of VAT returns locally and foreign, Intrastat and statutory financials.
- Assist in the reconciliation of fixed assets register and all related journal entries.




- Reconciliation of GL accounts relating to VAT, fixed assets, bank accounts and petty cash.
- Assistance in the preparation of financial reports as per pre-defined formats and analysis of the financial situation of the company, propose/advise on possible corrective actions.
- Ensure timely alignment to fiscal requirement (monthly, quarterly and yearly).
- Support manufacturing accounting activities for reporting. KEY REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor in Accounting, audit or tax.
- 3-5 Years experience in similar position, preferable within a US or international group.
- Knowledge of local and US GAAP accounting rules, fiscal legislation (VAT, income tax) and statutory reporting requirements.
- Language capabilities: Local language & English.
