- Develop and implement supply chain management strategies and processes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs
- Schedule pre-delivery inspections and ensure timely completion of inspections
- Plan and forecast demand for products and materials to ensure optimal inventory levels
- Manage stock levels and plan stock replenishment as well as scrapping activities
- Optimize stock levels to minimize inventory costs while ensuring adequate stock availability
- Implement days-on-hand improvement strategies
- Confirm and process orders in a timely and accurate manner
- Plan shipments and deliveries in coordination with logistics partners
- Ensure compliance with incoterms and other international trade regulations (import-export in EMEA region, dialogue with Chamber of Commerce as examples)
- Monitor and report on supply chain performance metrics
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and efficient order processing and delivery **Tasks and Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in supply chain management and order processing
- Proven track record of success in optimizing supply chain efficiency and reducing costs
- Knowledge of warehouse management practices and inventory management techniques
- Familiarity with incoterms and international trade regulations for coordinating inbound and outbound logístical operations in EMEA (chamber of commerce involvement)
- High level of proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems
- Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office package
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment (“being flexible and resilient”)
