Essendo il marchio di smartphone in più rapida crescita al mondo, realme si colloca saldamente tra i marchi di smartphone tradizionali.Location: Milan/Rome/Alternative, ItalyDepartment: Retail Operations / SalesJob PurposeWe are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Retail Manager with 5+ years of experience in the consumer electronics or mobile/smartphone sector in Italy. In this role, you will be the core driving force behind our offline retail presence, focusing heavily on promoter/field force management, store operations optimization, and strategic vendor relationship management. You will play a pivotal role in leading successful new product launches (NPI)
and translating brand strategy into retail excellence across the Italy market.Key Responsibilities:1. Field Force & Promoter Management:-Team Leadership: Recruit, train, motivate, and supervise a team of retail promoters, store managers, and field supervisors across designated regions.-Performance Tracking: Set clear sales KPIs for the field force, monitor daily/weekly sell-out performance, and implement coaching programs to improve conversion rates.-Roster & ROI Optimization: Optimize promoter scheduling (turnazioni) to align with peak traffic hours and maximize ROI per head in key accounts (e.G., MediaWorld, Unieuro, Operator stores).2. Store Operations & Execution:-Retail Excellence: Conduct regular store audits to ensure perfect execution of Visual -Merchandising (VM) standards, POSM (Point of Sale Materials) placement, and live demo unit functionality.-Stock Management: Collaborate with the supply chain team to monitor inventory levels at the store level, preventing out-of-stock situations on hero models.-Key Account Relationship: Build and maintain strong local relationships with store directors and floor managers of major electronics consumer chains and telco channels (TIM, Vodafone, WindTre).3. New Product Introduction (NPI) Execution:-Launch Go-to-Market: Lead the retail execution of new smartphone and ecosystem product launches. Ensure cross-functional readiness (promoter training, launch zones,
window displays).-Campaign Evaluation: Monitor early sell-out trends during launch phases and quickly pivot retail tactics based on consumer feedback and competitor moves.4. Vendor & Partner Management:-Agency Supervision: Manage external retail agencies (e.G., promoter agencies, merchandising vendors), ensuring high-quality output, service level agreements (SLAs), and budget compliance.-Cost Negotiation: Source and negotiate contracts with local suppliers for furniture production, printing materials, and retail event setups.Job Requirements:Industry Passion: Strong enthusiasm for technology and the consumer electronics industry.Language & Market Knowledge: Native or fluent Italian speaker with in-depth knowledge of Italian consumer behavior, retail culture, and regional market nuances. Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate effectively in a corporate environment and prepare business reports.Skills & Competencies: Strong analytical mindset with advanced Excel skills and proven ability to track and analyze sell-out data. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, combined with high emotional intelligence and strong stakeholder management capabilities.Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently across Italy for store visits, retail audits, and market activities.
