Mould Maker – Motorsport Composites
Location: Italy
Contract: 6 Months (with potential extension)
Rate: €30 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
VHR is recruiting on behalf of a leading motorsport composites manufacturer in Italy for an experienced Mould Maker. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation delivering high-performance composite components for the motorsport sector while working on cutting-edge projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture high-quality composite moulds for motorsport components.
- Prepare, assemble, finish, and inspect tooling to precise specifications.
- Repair, modify, and maintain existing composite moulds and tooling.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Ensure all tooling meets dimensional and quality standards.
- Work closely with laminators and production teams to achieve project deadlines.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Mould Maker within the composites industry.
- Proven ability to produce composite tooling to a high standard.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Right to work in the EU or eligibility to work in Italy.
Desirable Skills
- Experience within motorsport, Formula 1, or high-performance automotive sectors.
- Knowledge of carbon fibre composite manufacturing processes.
- Experience with tooling repairs and modifications.
- English communication skills; Italian language skills are beneficial.
