Position Summary

ITAZON Technologies is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to provide onsite L1 and L2 technical support for end users in Milan. This role is ideal for an IT support professional with strong troubleshooting expertise across desktop, network, hardware, software, and Microsoft technologies, combined with a customer-focused approach to service delivery.

Detailed Job Description

As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will serve as the primary point of contact for end‑user technical issues, ensuring the smooth operation of workplace technology and IT services. You will provide hands‑on support for Windows environments, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, hardware devices, peripherals, and network‑related issues while managing incidents through established service management processes. The role requires a proactive professional capable of diagnosing and resolving technical challenges efficiently while maintaining service‑level agreements (SLAs). You will also collaborate with vendors and internal support teams to deliver a seamless IT experience across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide onsite L1 and L2 desktop support to end users
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, network, and application issues
- Support Microsoft Windows environments, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, printers, laptops, and peripherals
- Manage incidents, requests, and updates through ticketing and helpdesk systems
- Ensure service requests are resolved within agreed SLAs
- Perform hardware installation, maintenance, diagnostics, replacements, and repair activities
- Configure and support desktop, laptop,



and workstation deployments
- Coordinate with third‑party vendors for hardware and service‑related issues
- Support audio‑visual (AV) equipment and meeting room technologies
- Provide basic administration and support for macOS devices, mobile devices, and Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent technical qualification
- Experience providing L1 and L2 Desktop Support in enterprise environments
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems
- Hands‑on experience with Active Directory and Group Policy Objects (GPO)
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications and services
- Familiarity with helpdesk and IT service management tools
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across desktop and network environments
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast‑paced and project‑driven environments
- English language proficiency at B2 level or higher
- EU Passport holder or eligible to work in Italy

Nice‑to‑Have Skills

- CompTIA A+ Certification
- Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or equivalent Microsoft certifications
- Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms such as Intune
- Knowledge of macOS administration and support
- Experience supporting conferencing, collaboration, and AV systems
