The Mechanical Designer is responsible of mechanical designing starting from the technical specifications defined by the Customers and green lighted by the Head of Technical office. He/she will also actively contribute to the enhancement and optimization of the project planning Main tasks and responsibilities: - Takes care of the feasibility analysis and development of new products
- Directly carries out the calculation and the design of the products according to the defined specifications and features,
in order to achieve the best possible solution
- Cost estimation for new design, in cooperation with Procurement and Production offices
- Prepares the drawings using the selected 3D CAD system
- Prepares the 2D drafting and BoM needed for the parts purchasing or manufacturing
- Supports the assembly and validation phases of the prototype
- Provides support in case to the Customer Care in case of issues or Service activities
- Takes care of all the aspects to guarantee the compliance with Safety and Product regulations **Requisiti**: - University degree in engineering (mechanical or similar) or High School Diploma in Technical Disciplines
- Minimum of 3 years experience in engineering within the industry of process automation
- Knowledge of 3d modelling software (Autodesk Inventor preferred)
- Knowledge about safety standards in machine design
- Knowledge about main mechanical machining processes, pneumathics, hydraulic and electric subsystems
- Good level of English
