Demand Planner Intern

We are looking for a Demand Planner Intern to join our team base in Pomezia (Roma). In this role he/she will support the team to define the production plan and generate work orders, as well as issue purchase orders. He/she will provide support to coordinate and monitor the materials flow (inbound/outbound) to make sure sales orders are properly and timely fulfilled, working closely with Customer Service, Logistics & Warehouse and Procurement to ensure an adequate products supply to the customers. He/she will provide support to monitor key metrics and run demand/forecast analysis. **Duties**: - Analyse monthly statistical forecast and forecast error to make changes/recommendations for inclusion into the demand plan as part of the EMEA S&OP; process.
- Generate lots and issue work orders to freeze the production plan
- Share results and analysis with many individuals and groups including sales, marketing, finance and operations.
- Work closely with other STERIS entities to issue internal requisitions according to monthly forecast and ensure on time delivery
- Develop monthly build plans for assigned manufacturing facilities as well as monthly requirements for purchased finished goods
- Support and perform KPI analysis and reports **Education Degree**: - Bachelor's Degree in Economics or Engineering General**Required Competencies**: - Proficiency in Microsoft Applications: in particular Excel
- Fluent English written and spoken
- Critical thinking, problem solving and analytical approach
- Self-motivated and organized, flexible and willing to learn proactively
- Familiar with Oracle (plus)
