ph3The opportunity /h3pAre you an experienced maintenance leader ready for a role where your decisions directly influence reliability, safety and operational performance? /ph3Job Requirements /h3pAt LANXESS in Latina, you will take ownership of the maintenance function for our Lubricant Additives production site. This is a visible leadership role for someone who enjoys working close to operations, leading people and improving the long‑term performance of industrial assets. /ppYou will lead an established multidisciplinary maintenance team, coordinate external contractors and work closely with Production, Engineering and HSE. The role is hands‑on enough to stay connected to the plant, and strategic enough to shape maintenance priorities, reliability improvements and future site development. /ph3What You Will Do /h3ulliLead the maintenance function for the Latina production site, ensuring safe, reliable and cost‑effective operation of plant assets. /liliDevelop and execute preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance strategies. /liliDrive Mechanical Integrity, reliability improvement and equipment availability initiatives. /liliLead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary maintenance team of electricians, mechanical and utilities technicians, and maintenance coordination professionals. /liliManage external contractors and specialist service providers when required. /liliWork closely with Production, Engineering, Automation and HSE to improve plant performance and support optimization projects. /liliManage the maintenance budget, SAP processes, spare parts strategy and critical inventory. /liliEnsure compliance with LANXESS standards,
legal requirements and Seveso regulations. /li /ulh3What you bring /h3ulliBachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or another relevant technical discipline. /liliSeveral years of maintenance leadership experience in chemical, petrochemical, oil gas, specialty chemicals, lubricant additives or another continuous process manufacturing environment. /liliExperience managing multidisciplinary maintenance teams and coordinating contractors. /liliStrong understanding of preventive maintenance, reliability engineering, Mechanical Integrity and asset management. /liliExperience managing maintenance budgets, KPIs and maintenance planning through SAP or another CMMS. /liliStrong leadership, communication, coaching and decision‑making skills. /liliProfessional working proficiency in Italian, native or C2 level, and English, at least B2 level. /li /ulh3Nice to have /h3ulliExperience working on a Seveso or Major Hazard industrial site. /liliExperience with asset lifecycle management and reliability improvement programmes. /liliKnowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or TPM. /li /ulh3Benefits /h3ulliPermanent employment with LANXESS Italia under CCNL Chimico. /liliQuadro classification, Category A3.
