Currently we are looking for a **Scheduling Team Lead** to be located in Forli, Italy **Responsibilities**: - Stabilize/Improve Production Scheduling (mid
- and short term; MPS & Plant Scheduling) and raw material scheduling processes for the Italian Mfg sites by: - Ensuring all Schedulers are properly trained and executing MRP Processing and Process Orders Scheduling according to Scheduling Standards;
- Ensuring the timely response to Sales Order/STO Alerts;
- Implementing a routine production status alignment of the SAP production schedule to actual production in the unit;
- Executing the EM Standard Firm Zone business rule;
- Implementing a “Back-Up” Coverage plan for managing vacation, holidays, etc;
- Develop a continual improvement mind set on the Scheduling Team.
- Cross function coordination with: Manufacturing, Quality, Planning, Customer Service, Logistics, etc
- Identify Productivity and Efficiency pipeline projects to continuously “lift” the Scheduling Team.
- Build Knowledge/Expertise in the use of Master Data to automate, streamline and facilitate Planning and Scheduling Processes. Qualifications: - A commercial or technical education: bachelor or master degree in business or engineering
- Minimum 5 years of broad expertise and experience in Supply Chain functions as well as in leading projects in related areas
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience
- strong knowledge in SAP environment (preferably PP/PS, MM and SD) and broader supply planning tools
- Excellent communication and team skills
- Excellent understanding of global supply networks
- Solution orientation, flexibility, ability to work under pressure, motivation, hands-on mentality
- Proactivity and thinking ahead is required
- Ability to work independently, set priorities & make decisions
- Work analytically, systematically and accurately
- Ability to cope with changing and challenging tasks
- Minimum 4 years of experience and strong knowledge in SAP environment (preferably PP/PS, MM and SD)
- Good written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills in Italian and English
