For our Research & Development Area, we are looking for an intern to join our advance technology team. The intern will be responsible for the comparison and reconciliation of virtual and physical validation results for gears and cast iron structures. The intern may also be involved in other activities specific to the R&PD; function, such as
- 3D modelling of components and assemblies
- Creation of 2D tables of components
- Coding of parts
- Management of product modifications
- Calculations and simulations
- Feasibility assessment
- Support for other functions (testing, quality, sales, purchasing)
- CAD modelling basics (Siemens NX)
- Cylindrical gear calculation (KissSoft)
- FEA calculation (Nastran, Ansys)
- Fatigue life calculation using the strain-life method
- Multi-body calculation (Transmission 3D) **Requirements**: - Degree in Mechanical Engineering;
- Knowledge of the English language;
- Good ability to work in a team;
