**Medov Logistics**is a high experienced Logistics provider with a group of professionals based in our offices in Genoa, Hamburg, Singapore and Miami providing Global Logistics Operations & Project Management for the maritime and cruise industry. **Position Summary**:
We are looking for a junior passioned about logistics and maritime/cruise industry, motivated in starting/moving his/her career in an international environment as freight forwarding Trainee. The Courier and pick up Trainee is part of the Freight Fowrding Team planning, coordinating and managing small pick-up and booking shipments with couriers such as DHL or Fedex, ensuring that all logistics operations are accomplished according to the timelines and budget. The Courier Trainee serves as the logistics liaison for assigned vessels/projects, working with shipowners, suppliers, vendors, buyers, Superintendents and shipboard personnel, Customs Agent, trucking Co, identifying cost saving opportunities/efficiencies in delivery and new revenue streams.
**Duties and Responsibilities included but not limited to**: - Follow Logistical plans for small parcels, or shipment that must be moved through couriers as per customer’s request, considering proper timelines, schedules and delivery time.
- Track and trace shipments on courier portal
- Freight Forwarding operations
- Customs formalities instruction supported bu F/F Team
- PO Management
- Courier booking - Data entry
- Monitoring and evaluating best service (checking tariff and transit time) **Skills & Requirements**: - Fluency in English
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Good organizational skills
- Good teamwork skills
