Bozen/Bolzano Institute for Biomedicine Short description of the position/project:
**Tasks**: - Define and support the integration of analysis workflows, considering the various types of multi-omics data.
- Implement novel algorithms and/or workflows to accelerate data analysis, ensure reproducibility and support integrative data models.
- Coordinate and perform data analyses in collaboration with project partners and external clients.
- Disseminate scientific results through conference contributions and scientific publications.
- Conduct outreach to potential users of the MOC. **Requirements**: - PhD within relevant field of research, such as Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, or Computational Biology.
- Experience in the analysis of quantitative *omics data, in particular proteomics and metabolomics.
- Experience in statistical modeling and statistical data analysis.
- Proficiency in R and/or Python.
- Ability to carry out multiple tasks autonomously and solve problems independently.
- Proactivity and ability to work in a multi-disciplinary research environment.
- Good communication skills; fluent in the English language. We offer: - A full-time position for the duration of the project until 31.12.2027.
