We are driven by the following values**: respect, determination, legacy, engagement and sustainability.** Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km. The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI). Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government. **Position**:
Main Responsibilities: - Manager Support: Report directly to the “Security OFH & OLC & IOC Events Coordinator.”
- Safety and Protection: Ensure the safety and protection of guests, staff, and physical assets within the hotel premises.
- Prevention and Investigations: Implement preventive measures against criminal activities,
conduct investigations when necessary, and collaborate with law enforcement agencies.
- Supervision and Monitoring: Help the coordinator in supervising security patrols, surveillance systems, door locking mechanisms, and control of restricted areas.
- Staff Training: Support the coordinator in training of staff on emergency procedures and ensure readiness for any unforeseen events.
- Security Inspections: Conduct regular security inspections to assess vulnerabilities and promptly address any issues.
- Team Relations: Ensure adherence to protocols, and maintain good working relationships with other departments.
- Human Resources Management: Support the Coordinator in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of security personnel. Promote a positive and motivating work environment. **Requirements**:
Required Qualifications: - Fluency in both English and Italian is required. An extra language is a plus.
- Degree in Security, Event Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing security for large events, preferably in Olympic events.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.
- Knowledge of local and international security regulations. Desired Skills: - Leadership and team management abilities.
