**DESCRIPTION**:

AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. SAFETY
Follow and maintain the highest safety standards and diligently encourage a world-class safety culture. As a facility owner team,
ensure remediation of safety risks/issues in conjunction with other teams. Own the safety initiatives and projects to foster strong safety culture. ENGINEERING & FACILITY OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE
- Operational experience and familiarity with electrical and mechanical equipment, including Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS’s), Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS's), Diesel Generators, Chillers, Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC), Exhaust Fans, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's), and Transformers.
- Troubleshoot events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA’s)
- Take daily operational readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment through routine rounds/log-taking (temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.)
- Supervise contractors who perform servicing or preventive maintenance
- Manual handling and lifting of equipment may be required (weight limits in accordance with health & safety regulations). About AWS Diverse Experiences Why AWS?

- Demonstrate key electrical competencies (Practice & Theory) & knowledge of mechanical systems (Mechanical, HVAC systems, Controls)
- Very good command of English **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**: - Data Center/ mission critical engineering experience
- Willing to travel between data center sites, and internationally if required
- Driving license valid in Italy
