A Warehouse Assistant is responsible for assisting with the efficient operation of the warehouse by receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching products. This role ensures inventory is organized, accurate, and handled safely while maintaining a clean and secure working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and unload incoming deliveries.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Label, sort, and store products in designated warehouse locations.
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment when required.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock counts.
- Inspect goods for damage and report any discrepancies.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Assist with returns, stock replenishment, and general warehouse duties.
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet daily productivity targets.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is an advantage but not essential.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to workplace safety.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong time management and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Forklift license or certification (preferred but not always required).
- Basic understanding of warehouse procedures and inventory control.

Pay: €22,000.00 - €28,000.00 per year
