ppbWorking Pattern: /b 3-shift rotation | Fully onsite /ppbAccommodation: /b Provided / paid for /ppbTravel: /b Flights and travel costs covered /ppbThe Opportunity /b /ppWe are looking for bPLC / Automation Engineers /b to support a live industrial automation troubleshooting project in bItaly /b. /ppThe key requirement is strong hands-on experience with bSiemens PLCs and TIA Portal /b, with bOmron /b experience considered an advantage. /ppThis is a bproduction support and troubleshooting-focused assignment /b, rather than a greenfield programming project. You will be responsible for investigating live automation issues, analysing PLC logic, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions to improve equipment reliability and production performance. /ppIf you enjoy getting hands-on with complex machinery, diagnosing faults and solving real production problems, this could be an excellent opportunity. /ppbWhat You'll Be Doing /b /pulliTroubleshoot bSiemens PLC-controlled production equipment /b /liliUse bTIA Portal /b for online diagnostics and fault finding /liliAnalyse existing PLC logic, sequences and interlocks /liliInvestigate recurring equipment faults, stoppages and downtime /liliDiagnose issues across PLC software, electrical systems, sensors, drives, instrumentation and communications /liliTroubleshoot automated machinery and production lines /liliIdentify bottlenecks, intermittent faults and reliability issues /liliPerform detailed broot-cause analysis /b /liliRecommend corrective actions and technical improvements /liliCreate clear action plans outlining issues,
priorities and recommended solutions /liliSupport the implementation and testing of corrective actions /liliWork closely with production, maintenance and engineering teams /liliDocument technical findings and any software changes /li /ulpThe core requirement is the ability to bsystematically diagnose why automated equipment isn't performing correctly and determine the most effective solution /b. /ppbTechnical Experience /b /ppWe are particularly interested in engineers with hands-on experience in: /pulliS7-1200 / S7-1500 /liliPLC diagnostics and online troubleshooting /liliLadder Logic, FBD and/or Structured Text / SCL /liliIndustrial Ethernet / bProfinet /b /liliDrives and motor control /liliSensors, actuators and field devices /liliAutomated machinery and production lines /liliElectrical fault finding /liliMachine sequencing and interlocks /liliCommissioning and start-up /liliProduction troubleshooting /liliRoot-cause analysis /li /ulpExperience with bOmron PLCs /b, including Sysmac Studio or CX-Programmer, would be beneficial but is bnot essential /b. /ppExperience with other platforms such as bRockwell / Allen-Bradley,
