PpOur client is dedicated to making nuclear power more accessible and focuses on delivering: /ppbSimple and Safe Micro-Reactor Solutions /b /ppScalable, affordable, and deployable in various locations /ppGenerates energy at a rate of bone megawatt electric (MWe) /b at a time /ppThey are currently developing a bMicro Modular Reactor /b /ppCapable of providing clean energy and radioisotopes where needed /ppInitially supporting the reactor licensing process in the bUnited States /b /ppBy partnering with them, we have the opportunity to contribute to bA Rapidly Growing Scaleup /b /ppAiming to become a leading technology provider in global energy solutions /ppCommitted to innovation and sustainability /ppThis collaboration offers a unique chance to be part of a bHigh-Performance Team /b /ppFocused on delivering essential energy solutions worldwide /ph3RESPONSABILITIES DUTIES /h3h3The Nuclear Fluid Systems Engineer will be responsible for: /h3ulliResponsible for the design, analysis, and optimization of fluid-based systems in nuclear power plants, research reactors, and other nuclear facilities. /liliEnsuring the safe and efficient operation of cooling, steam, and hydraulic systems while maintaining strict compliance with nuclear safety and regulatory standards. /liliWorking closely with reactor engineers, regulatory agencies, and maintenance teams to develop and improve system performance, reliability, and safety. /li /ulh3What you will be in charge off: /h3ulliDesigning, analyzing, and optimizing nuclear fluid systems, including reactor coolant, steam generation, condensate, and hydraulic systems. /liliConducting thermal-hydraulic modeling, flow analysis, and pressure drop calculations to ensure system efficiency and safety. /liliDeveloping and maintaining system documentation, including flow diagrams, PIDs, operating procedures, and safety reports. /liliPerforming system reliability assessments, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for fluid system failures. /liliEnsuring compliance with NRC (Nuclear Regulatory Commission) regulations, ASME codes,



and other industry standards. /liliCollaborating with reactor engineers, safety specialists, and regulatory bodies to enhance fluid system performance. /liliSupporting the testing, commissioning, and maintenance of fluid systems in nuclear facilities. /liliAssisting in plant modifications, upgrades, and retrofits for improved efficiency and regulatory compliance. /liliEvaluating material compatibility and corrosion effects to ensure long-term fluid system integrity. /liliProviding technical support and training to plant operators and maintenance personnel. /li /ulpProfil recherché /ph3CANDIDATE PROFILE /h3pbEducation: /b Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or a related field. /ppbExperience: /b 3-7 years in fluid system design, thermal-hydraulic analysis, or nuclear plant operations (entry-level positions may require internships or co-op experience). /ppbCertifications (Preferred): /b PE (Professional Engineer) license, ASME Boiler Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC) certification, or equivalent industry credentials. /ppbExpertise: /b In fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer principles. /ppbProficiency: /b In hydraulic modeling and simulation software (e.g., ANSYS Fluent, STAR CCM+, Flowmaster). /ppbKnowledge: /b Of nuclear reactor coolant systems, heat exchangers, and steam turbines. /ppbFamiliarity: /b With ASME BPVC, NRC regulatory requirements, and ANSI standards for nuclear fluid systems. /ppbExperience: /b With computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and finite element analysis (FEA) is a plus. /ppbStrengths: /b Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. /ppbSkills: /b Effective communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with engineers, operators, and regulatory agencies. /ppbAttention to Detail: /b A commitment to nuclear safety and compliance. /ppbAbility: /b To work under pressure and manage multiple projects with strict deadlines. /ph3Preferred /h3ulliPhD degree. /liliIPO experience. /liliWritten and oral fluency in Italian. /liliAbility to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
