PpRINA is currently recruiting for a bDirettore Lavori Opere civili /b to join its office in bRome, Genoa or Naples /b within the bCivil Engineering /b Division. /p h3Mission /h3 pThe role is focuses on overseeing and managing construction activities to ensure they adhere to project specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, envirnomental issues and are completed on time and within budget by coordinating and supervising the work of construction teams and subcontractors. /p h3Key Accountabilities /h3 ul liProject Supervision: Supervise construction projects, ensuring that work aligns with approved designs, specifications, and relevant regulations. /li liDocument Approval: Approve and sign accountable documents vs Contractor to ensure accuracy and compliance. /li liQuality Control: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to uphold the highest construction quality standards. /li liProject Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely progress. Identify and address delays or issues that may impact project timelines. /li liResource Coordination: Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure the availability of necessary resources, materials, and equipment. /li liCost Management: Monitor project expenditures and provide input on cost control measures to keep projects within budget. /li liSafety Compliance: Collaborate with the Construction Safety Engineer to ensure all work is performed in adherence to safety regulations and best practices. /li liIssue Resolution: Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges that may arise during construction. /li liProgress Reporting: Prepare and submit regular progress reports to project stakeholders, highlighting key accomplishments, issues, and proposed solutions. /li liClaims Management:
Manage the claims of the Contractor, ensuring fair and efficient resolution. /li liChange Management: Handle changes in project scope, schedule, or design. Ensure that all necessary adjustments are communicated and implemented. /li liDocument Management: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, drawings, and records of project-related communications. /li liGroup Coordination: Coordinate the group dedicated to construction supervision, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. /li liOn-Site Support: Provide direct day-to-day support and oversight of project elements, including site visits to take measurements. /li liEngineering Support: Offer direct or indirect support to senior engineers or engineering teams, including gathering data for permit applications and submitting documentation to officials. /li liProject Timeline Development: Develop project schedules and deliverable timelines under the supervision of more experienced engineers. /li liTechnical Deliverables: Prepare technical deliverables, such as technical reports, project performance documentations, and engineering drawings. /li liProgress Reports: Generate progress technical reports to keep stakeholders informed about project advancements. /li liQuality Management: Be aware of and understand the Quality Policy, ensuring that all assigned activities are executed in accordance with the RINA Quality Management System (QMS).
