The service center is the single point of contact for after-sales support in the territory including repair and overhaul, engine fleet management, customer support and logistic support functions. /p h3Place of Employment /h3 pPlace of work will be based in Italy, Villanova d’Albenga /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liYour primary job function will be to provide mobile field support to Pratt Whitney Canada Customers in Italy and the EMEA region. This will include dispatch to customer facilities at a moment notice. You will undertake repairs on Pratt Whitney Canada aircraft engines - up to and including Hot Section Inspection and Line Maintenance. /li liAs well as hands-on engine support, this role requires that you project manage each engine, from initial contact with the customer, through to generation of commercial and technical reports in accordance with work performed. To provide in-house and in-field engine event management and engine repairs and refurbishment on Pratt Whitney Canada aircraft engines - up to and including hot section inspection, line maintenance and Heavy Maintenance as and when required. The requirements to travel are an integral part of this role. /li liUndertake the appropriate repairs following the requirements of customer,



OEM and aviation industry regulations. The job holder will: /li liResponsible to provide shop logistical support, ensure there is proper track of exports and imports at all times. /li liMaintain a proper track of HEMA/ MRT parts at all times and ensure any returns are done as per policy and well documented. /li liEnsure all technical documentation has been correctly completed prior to commencement of work. /li liMaintain and complete work files and relevant documentation, showing detailed entries of work performed. /li liBuild engines to defined standard ensuring fit, clearance and modification levels are accurate using appropriate PWC hand tools and measuring equipment /li liConstantly seek improvements to turn time and cost reductions /li liBe aware the commercial aspects of the work requirements and negotiate with the customer as appropriate /li liEnsure that all necessary attempts are made to carry out repairs which can be performed at the customer’s facility or on-wing/deck (Engine removal should be regarded as the last resort) /li liGeneration of accurate cost estimates and technical reports as required, in adherence to the quoted costs.



Ensure that the customer is advised of any escalation in cost before costs are exceeded /li liGeneration of invoices and final technical reports in accordance with work performed /li liTo generate good customer communication and issue regular status for in-house work as necessary /li liThe job holder will be responsible for seeking opportunities to increase personal effectiveness and planning training and development in discussion with his/her supervisor. /li liSupport the Sales and FSM functions when required /li liEnsure that products and services meet the requirements of customers, quality standards and airworthiness authorities /li /ul h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree and minimum 10 years of experience or advanced degree and minimum of 5 years of experience as defined below . /li liProgressively responsible experience at an airline or OEM or related industry support function is required. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience in a customer facing role/environment is preferred; Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. /li /ul h3What is my role type? /h3 ul liOnsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. /li liThis is a local position without expat remote assignment benefits.
