We are looking for a Senior Robotics Engineer to join our RD team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between embedded hardware and advanced robotic systems, designing and developing the firmware and libraries that allow our microcontrollers to drive the next generation of open-source robotics. or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. /liliOR /liliPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. /lili2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. /li /ulh3What you'll work on /h3ulliIntegrate Arduino microcontrollers and embedded platforms with industry-standard robotics ecosystems (e.g., ROS, ROS 2, micro-ROS). /liliPrototype robotic product solutions from research through to production, ensuring hardware and software harmonize perfectly. /liliDesign, develop, code, test, and debug embedded firmware (C/C++) with a focus on robotics applications, including motor control, actuator management, and sensor data acquisition. /liliWork effectively with cross-functional teams including hardware, application software, Quality Assurance, and product management to define requirements, integrate components, and deliver high-quality products. /liliRepresent Arduino at internal / external events and share our spirit with the developers community /li /ulh3What you bring /h3ulliBachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent field. /liliHands-on experience developing nodes and architectures using ROS 2 and micro-ROS. /liliFamiliarity with robotic middleware communication patterns (Pub/Sub, Services, Actions, DDS). /liliDeep understanding of motor control techniques and hardware, specifically for BLDC (Brushless DC) motors, stepper motors, and servos. /liliFamiliarity with core autonomous navigation concepts, such as SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping). /liliExperience integrating and processing data from environmental sensors like LiDAR, Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensors, cameras and MEMS.



/liliStrong proficiency in C and/or C++ for resource-constrained embedded systems /liliExtensive experience with hardware interfaces and protocols crucial to robotics (e.g., CAN bus, I2C, SPI, UART, USB, Ethernet, GPIO). /liliFluent in English both verbal and written is mandatory /li /ulh3Bonus Points /h3ulliKnowledge of the Arduino and Zephyr ecosystem /liliKnowledge of IoT Protocols (MQTT, CoAP, HTTP, TCP, UDP, AMQP). /liliExperience with hardware debugging and tools like JTAG/SWD. /liliExperience with Python and Golang and/or Rust /liliExperience with simulators and physics engines (Gazebo, pyBullet, Mujoco) /liliExperience with machine vision frameworks and deep learning frameworks /liliExperience with containerization and orchestration for fleet management /liliKnowledge of Github /liliKnowledge of CAD/CAM and digital fabrication /li /ulp*References to a particular number of years experience are for indicative purposes only.
