Substitute Custodians

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferably two to three years of related maintenance experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, school administrators and staff.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to get tasks done in a timely manner
- Able to assume responsibility with a minimum of direct supervision
- Ability to effectively use basic computer software applications

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to be physically active and able to bend, crawl, squat, stoop and walk; reach with hands and arms overhead; lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.

Hours

On call for subbing Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m.



to 2:30 p.m. during school year

Pay

According to the RESPA Master Agreement.
