/p h3YOUR ROLE /h3 pWe are looking for a Cobol Developer to join our teams in Lisbon and Porto.
/p h3In This Role, You Will Be Responsible For /h3 ul liDeveloping, testing, and implementing COBOL code for banking systems, including transaction processing, account management, and financial reporting; /li liCollaborating with system analysts, software architects, and other team members to understand project requirements and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions; /li liPerforming analysis and diagnostics of existing systems, proposing and implementing effective solutions; /li liParticipating in code reviews and ensuring compliance with coding standards and best practices; /li liWorking with technical support teams to resolve emergency issues and ensure the stability of production systems; /li liStaying up to date with best practices in software development and technologies relevant to the COBOL environment.
/li /ul h3YOUR PROFILE /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering,



or related fields (or equivalent experience); /li liAt least 3 years of experience in COBOL software development; /li liExperience with DB2 / VSAM; /li liExperience with JCL; /li liExperience with TSO/ISPF and CICS; /li liKnowledge of financial systems – banking domain; /li liAbility to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills; /li liExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure; /li liFluent in English.
