We are looking for a
Hardware Engineer - Connectivity
to join a major OEM's connected-services organization to shape the definition and implementation of new Telematic Control Unit (TCU) platforms, bringing automotive hardware expertise to scalable, high-quality product development.

Responsibilities:
Create and maintain Telematic Control Unit (TCU) hardware requirements
Ensure HW design and development stay on time against project milestones
Interface with Tier-1 suppliers on HW solution proposals and technical analysis
Act as engineering reference for hardware electronics development - requirement analysis, wiring harness solutions, schematic design/simulation, and BOM creation
Supervise DVP&R; activities, interpreting climatic, environmental, electrical, and EMC test results
Supervise RF certification activities and support validation failure analysis and resolution
Support production during prototype builds and drive Product Design FMEA with the Quality department
Support Quality on customer complaints and failure component analysis, and manage Change Requests on TCU hardware architecture




Analyze hardware-related defects and track them through dedicated tools (e.g. JIRA)
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, with at least 3 years in the automotive industry
Experience with electronic design: component choice and sizing, SPICE simulation, worst-case analysis, schematic entry, BOM handling, and layout
Knowledge of Functional Safety theory (ISO *****), Diagnostics, and CAN communication protocol
Experience steering suppliers in the hardware (electronics) domain, plus basics of DFMEA, PCBA assembly, and APQP
Lab experience verifying electronic circuits with oscilloscope, multimeter, and general instrumentation
Skilled across 4G/5G Modem, DSRC, C-V2X, UWB, NFC, WiFi, BLE, CAN, and Automotive Ethernet, plus NAD, SoC, and SiP technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
Analogue/digital circuit design for multiprocessor TCU architectures
Hands-on soldering/rework, connectors and harness experience, EMC/EMI sensitivity, thermal optimization, PLM tools, and Linux-based SW architectures
