For one of the leading high-tech manufacturers in the Netherlands , we are looking for a Maintenance Technician .
You will be responsible for keeping advanced production equipment and technical installations running at their best, in an environment where every detail matters.
Whether you are already in the Netherlands or reading this from abroad, Motus People takes care of the rest. Housing, municipal registration, BSN, health insurance, bank account, all arranged before you arrive.
The Role
You work alongside colleagues to maintain, troubleshoot and improve high-tech production equipment and technical installations. Your work ensures that machines remain reliable, efficient and ready to perform whenever they are needed.
Your responsibilities
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrotechnical equipment
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical malfunctions to minimise downtime
- Inspecting, testing and adjusting machines and installations to ensure optimal performance
- Working from technical drawings, manuals and maintenance documentation
- Recording maintenance activities and technical findings accurately
- Identifying recurring issues and thinking along with your team about improvements to equipment and maintenance processes
Working hours, your choice: Day shift: you start between 07:00 and 09:00.
Two-shift rotation (+20%):
- Week 1: Monday–Thursday 05:45–14:30 | Friday 05:45–12:00
- Week 2: Monday–Thursday 14:15–00:00 | Friday 11:45–17:45
This is You
- A technical MBO level 3 or 4 qualification mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or mechatronics or an equivalent international diploma
- You read technical drawings fluently and you work accurately, every time
- Level-headed, practical, and not afraid to take initiative when something looks wrong
- You work well with colleagues, and you can also find your own way without being told twice
- You want to keep developing and learning new techniques
- Good command of English, spoken and written. Dutch is a plus, not a requirement
- Living in the Netherlands, or ready to relocate here
Experience in a cleanroom environment is a real advantage, but a demonstrable feel for precision work weighs heavier than the number of years behind it.
What We Offer
- € 3.200 – € 3.750 gross per month , based on your experience
- Choose your own rhythm: stay on day shift, or earn 20% more in the two-shift rotation up to roughly € 4.500 gross per month
- 8% holiday allowance, paid monthly
