About the Role

This role carries full responsibility for the operational, commercial and financial management of a Group resort operating under an international upper upscale hotel brand affiliation.

The General

Manager provides leadership, vision and strategic direction to continuously raise operating standards, ensuring an elevated guest experience and strong financial performance, while upholding both the standards required by the international brand and the Group's values — Italian Taste, Biophilic Design, Sustainability, People.

Responsibilities

Leadership & Culture

- Acts as a role model for the team, embodying the Group's values — Italian Taste, Biophilic Design, Sustainability, People — and the service philosophy of the international brand affiliation.
- Provides inspirational leadership, clear vision and direction to the team, ensuring full delivery of the Group's brand, values and vision, and creating an outstanding experience for guests and colleagues.
- Steers the management team in the right direction, driving it to perform at its highest level, including the achievement of stated operational and profitability goals.
- Maintains an image of professional senior management towards guests, colleagues and the property.

Operations & Brand Standards

- Oversees and manages all aspects of the property,



ensuring the whole team strictly adheres to the policies and Standard Operating Procedures set by the property and Corporate/HQ.
- Is responsible for establishing and executing sustainable operating initiatives across all functions, in line with the business direction and the Group's Sustainability pillar.
- Recognises the importance of the international brand's standards and coordinates with the Training Manager to implement the initiatives needed to ensure strict compliance and deliver stellar audit performance.

Financial & Commercial Performance

- Maintains a strategic overview and plans ahead to capitalise on all available revenue-generating opportunities.
- Directs the development and execution of strategic sales, marketing and revenue management initiatives to maximise market positioning.
- Reviews and approves the property's annual operating budget.
- Monitors the property's performance through internal and external audits and financial reports, proposing initiatives to address challenges and enhance business performance.

People & Stakeholders

- Is a member of the property's Executive Committee and contributes to the preparation and development of the property's strategic and business plan.
- Serves as a key change manager for initiatives with high colleague impact, staying current with ever-changing industry trends.
- Attends owners' meetings as a member of the property's Executive Committee,



providing context on performance results and demonstrating a clear understanding of owner priorities and of Corporate/HQ.
- Maintains a smooth flow of information between the property and Corporate/HQ.
- Takes part in all interview processes to ensure the best selection of talent for the organisation.
- Provides effective performance feedback through recognition, rewards and, when necessary, disciplinary action, with the support of Human Resources.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration; a degree in Hospitality Management or Hotel Management is preferred.
- 8-10+ years of progressive managerial experience in upper-upscale/luxury hotels, including at least 3-5 years as General Manager.
- Prior experience in a property affiliated with an international hotel brand (management or franchise agreement) is a strong plus.
- Business-savvy leader with demonstrated financial acumen and a track record of strong P&L; results.
- Fluent Italian and English, written and spoken; a third language (French or German) is a plus.
- A sharp sense of product and service quality, with genuine understanding of the needs of upper-upscale/luxury guests.
- Strong strategic decision-making, with a proven track record in guest satisfaction, operational excellence and team engagement.
- An effective communicator, able to motivate and positively influence colleagues.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in managing diverse teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
