We are partnering with a global technology organisation looking to appoint a Design Systems Lead to shape and evolve the design foundation behind products and services used by millions of people.

This is an opportunity to lead an enterprise-scale design system within a complex international organisation, bringing Design, Engineering and Product together around a shared vision for quality, accessibility and scale.

The successful individual will work with senior design and product leaders to define the strategy for the system, evolve its components, tokens, patterns and guidelines, and create the conditions for teams across the organisation to adopt and contribute to it.

This role requires more than technical design systems expertise. It needs someone who understands how to create alignment across a large organisation, influence without relying on authority and balance standardisation with the freedom teams need to innovate.

You’ll likely bring

▪ 9+ years of experience across Product Design, Interaction Design, UX or a related discipline





▪ Proven experience leading enterprise-scale design systems within a complex product organisation

▪ Strong knowledge of design tokens, component architecture, front-end frameworks and modern design tooling

▪ Excellent interaction, visual and systems design capabilities

▪ Deep expertise in accessibility and inclusive design

▪ Experience building alignment across Design, Engineering and Product

▪ The ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead change without formal authority

▪ Strong communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills

▪ Experience mentoring designers and raising design quality through coaching and knowledge sharing

▪ A degree in Design or a related discipline

We are particularly interested in speaking with experienced Design Systems Leads who have built or evolved systems across multiple products, teams and markets.

-The role offers a flexible hybrid setup based in Milan or Barcelona, with up to 50% onsite working and some international travel.
