JDL Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a leading data centre developer as they look to expand their team with a Customer Success Manager in Europe.
This is a permanent position within the Business Development function, working closely with Operations, Infrastructure Design and Technical Programme Management. The role is the single point of contact for key client accounts across capacity planning, contract delivery and ongoing relationship management, with a competitive package on offer.
Responsibilities:
- Act as single point of contact and lead for key clients across RFIs, RFPs and contract negotiations, interfacing with all concerned internal departments and partners
- Work with client site selection teams to understand future requirements across locations and capacities
- Manage overall capacity planning for current and future client portfolios
- Work with internal departments and partners to explore plans, options, sites and plots, including schedules and costs
- Prepare business cases and lead negotiations with Finance
- Prepare and secure management approvals, including memos and management presentations
- Project manage the delivery of executed contracts to agreed RFS dates, covering planning, tracking, risk identification, stakeholder management, governance, reporting and escalation
- Manage change during delivery and coordinate internally to convert it into actionable plans
- Lead knowledge transfer of contractual obligations to relevant internal teams
- Own client escalations end to end, working with internal teams through to closure
- Manage new client requests across construction and operational sites, coordinating solutions and costs, preparing business cases and providing price estimates
- Lead the preparation and presentation of client reporting and meetings, including annual business reviews
- Monitor financial performance against budget and report variances promptly
Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience in a key client management role
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or a relevant field preferred
- Project or data centre experience preferred
- Sound technical knowledge with the ability to discuss complex technical requirements with customers
- Exceptional relationship building skills and the ability to foster positive business relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work across cross functional departments internally and client side
- Strong decision making and leadership abilities
