Build and grow Trip.com's attraction partnerships business across Southern Europe, with Italy and Greece as the priority markets. The role owns the full partner lifecycle - from market mapping and acquisition through contracting, onboarding, performance growth, and renewal - securing competitive products, pricing, inventory, and joint marketing plans that generate incremental GMV and strengthen Trip.com's position in Attractions and Tours.
Why This Role:
- Shape Trip.com's attraction supply and commercial strategy in Southern Europe, with ownership of two priority tourism markets: Italy and Greece.
- Build senior relationships with leading attractions, museums, cultural landmarks, theme parks, tours, activities, and tourism stakeholders.
- Own measurable growth from partner acquisition and activation through GMV expansion, strategic account development, and renewal.
In this Role, you’ll:
Market Strategy and Partner Acquisition
- Develop market plans and a qualified partner pipeline for Italy and Greece, while identifying selective expansion opportunities across Southern Europe.
- Acquire high-potential attractions and tour operators, prioritizing partners and products that strengthen destination coverage, customer choice, and commercial performance.
- Lead commercial proposals and contract negotiations covering rates, commissions, pricing, inventory, availability, settlement, service levels, marketing support, and renewal terms.
Key Account Growth and Renewal
- Own relationships with strategic partners through regular reporting, senior stakeholder engagement, joint business reviews, and disciplined renewal planning.
- Improve product breadth, price competitiveness, inventory availability, content quality, cancellation terms, conversion, and distribution performance across priority accounts.
- Develop joint business and marketing plans with key partners, including promotions, merchandising, seasonal campaigns, and destination-led growth initiatives.
Partner Onboarding and Cross-functional Delivery
- Coordinate Operations, Product, Technology, Finance, Legal, and Marketing to deliver efficient contracting, connectivity, content setup, product onboarding, and launch readiness.
- Resolve commercial and operational issues quickly, maintain partner satisfaction, and ensure reliable product
- distribution and a strong customer experience after launch.
Ecosystem and Market Development
- Build relationships with tourism boards, ticketing and booking systems, destination organizations, industry associations, and other strategic ecosystem partners.
- Track market trends, competitor activity, pricing, and emerging attraction models; translate insights into new partnerships, commercial projects, and market-share opportunities.
What you'll Need to Succeed:
Must Have
- At least 3 years of B2B sales, business development, key account management, or strategic partnership experience in attractions, tours and activities, OTAs, travel technology, ticketing, or tourism.
- Proven success acquiring and growing attraction, venue, or tour-operator partnerships through complex, multi-stakeholder sales and contract cycles.
- Fluent English plus native or full professional proficiency in Italian or Greek, with the ability to operate effectively across both priority markets.
- Strong commercial judgment and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage GMV, pricing, inventory, conversion, account plans, and partner economics using data.
- Highly organized,
resilient, and relationship-driven; comfortable owning both new business development and long-term account growth in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Able to travel frequently across Italy, Greece, and other Southern European markets for partner meetings, trade events, onboarding, and business reviews.
Nice to Have:
- Existing relationships with leading Italian or Greek attractions, museums, cultural venues, tour operators, tourism boards, ticketing systems, or industry associations.
- Experience across multiple attraction categories, including landmarks, museums, theme parks, cruises, sightseeing, tours, and activities.
- Familiarity with booking-system connectivity, channel management, API integrations, product onboarding, and OTA distribution operations.
- Additional Southern European language capability and experience scaling a successful commercial playbook across more than one country.
