Duties
- Actively participates in the management of the activity or organization by performing a wide variety of clerical and administrative support duties.
- Serves as the central point of contact for matters related to day-to-day operations.
- Applies knowledge of the organization, its functions and regulations to carryout a wide variety of administrative functions related to the organization and its mission.
- Exercises independent judgement. Composes operating procedures and sets internal priorities to generate improvements in administrative services.
- An extensive knowledge of rules, operations, and practices, and judgment in locating and selecting the most appropriate guidelines is required.

- Work experience directly related to Administrative Support Assistant duties:
- Performed a wide variety of clerical and administrative support duties.
- Knowledge on a wide range of functions to include personnel, accounting, budget, purchasing, logistics and supply, transportation, security.
- Knowledge of rules operations, practices, and judgement in locating and selecting the most appropriate guidelines.
- Ability to serve as the central point of contact for day-to-day operations.
- Ability to exercise independent judgement.
- Possess skill in general office machines, software, and the internet.
- Ability to type 40 words per minute.
In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified":
- Possess previous work experience in DOD FMWR Operations to include the use of CYMS/RecTrac for processing point of sale transactions.
- Have a knowledge of the Italian language, both spoken and written.
- Possess prior experience working in Tax Relief Office Operations. (VAT and UTAP)

- This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
